DESCRIPTION:\n\nThis workshop is designed to help faculty with the pitching\, drafting\, and editing processes involved in writing for The Conversation\, which publishes news analysis and commentary by university faculty and researchers for the general public. Writing for The Conversation can help you reach new audiences\, expand the reach of your research and lead to additional public scholarship opportunities. By the end of this two-hour workshop\, participants will have identified a suitable topic from their research\, drafted a pitch\, and submitted it for review. \n\n\n\n\nWorkshop and seminar registration is open to faculty\, post-doctoral fellows\, and Science Communication Credential students only.\n\nGraduate students interested in learning more about public scholarship should register for the graduate student public scholarship working group by emailing publicscholarship@wustl.edu.
