A workshop with the Program in Public Scholarship, co-sponsored
by the Skandalaris Center for Interdisciplinary Innovation and
Entrepreneurship.
- Breakfast will be provided.
In this workshop, we will discuss what makes a compelling but brief academic autobiography. Scholars will have the chance in this low-pressure setting to take narrative and descriptive risks as they compress the stories of their academic work into a two-minute presentation geared to wide audiences. The results from this workshop will be useful as author profile material or for pitches to public-facing venues. Skandalaris Investor-in-Residence Jerry Rosen will be a guest presenter at this workshop, offering valuable tips and advice on how to frame a two-minute story for presentation/pitch purposes.
